Welcome Class 2011 Begins March 16th

The most recent Welcome Class began last Wednesday evening (March 16th, 2011) and will continue for four weeks.

We are pleased to have the following participants: Adam Harrell, Barbara Martin, Theresa Collins, T.H. Gibson, Anne Marie Sibthorp, Jackie McClure, Jeff & Wendy Wilbanks, and Edna Wyatt.

There will be other opportunities in the future if you want to lean more about the vision, purpose and ministries of First Baptist Church. Of course, the Welcome Class also gives us an opportunity to better know each of you.

Our Welcome Class is being taught this spring by our pastor, Dr. Doug Danner.

Wecome Class Finishes Up!

What a great group for our most recent Welcome Class. Ten folks participated in our four week discovery course on Wednesday evenings. We learned about each other and the ministries and mission of the church. I continue to be thankful for the diversity of culture and experience that God keeps sending to our parish. We are excited about what God is doing.

Associate Pastor for Music and Administration, Eddie Haigler visited the Welcome Class on November 10th. He talked about his work and tenure at FBC Huntersville. FBC has more than 300 people invovled in various choirs, children through adults. In addition, Eddie talked about the budget process and the commitment cards that will come to every household.

Welcome Class at First Baptist Church of Huntersville

Our newsest Welcome Class began Wednesday the 3rd of November 2010. The conference room was nearly full with ten participants and myself. The group is very diverse. They interacted well on our first night. God is good to send folks our way. We can't wait to discover their giftedness and hear some of their stories.
